St Cremins

St Cremin’s NS is the primary school in Multyfarnham parish. Our school was built in 1973 after the three small schools in the parish were closed down and amalgamated into one central school. Those three schools were located in Ballinafid, Leney and Multyfarnham. 

 

The school is an 8 mainstream school with 213 pupils currently enrolled in the school. 

 

St Cremin is our patron saint. His feast day is on 28th June each year. St Cremin built a monastery in Lacken, approximately 3 miles from the school. The ruins of the monastery is at the graveyard site in Lacken.
